Frequently Encountered Problems

At present, when a vehicle with an MDVR camera system is installed, in the event of an accident, there are the following situations:

1. Vehicle DVR with built-in super capacitor (our Mobile DVR comes with 5 seconds), it will take 2 to 5 seconds to pack video data. Confirming the integrity of the data packet, this way, can not record the process of the accident (that is, the momentary picture of the accident process), and the shortcomings cannot be recorded to the integrity of the event.

2. External protection power supply, to protect the MDVR system, it can pack the video files when the power is off to protect the video data from being lost.

3. Use external UPS backup power supply. Usually this method can ensure the normal operation of the DVR camera system for about 30 minutes. It is also the longest sustainable power supply so far. Disadvantages: long charging time (5~6 hours), in addition, for vehicle accidents, it does not need such a long time.

4. That is, the super capacitor group (the latest development of our company) is fully charged in about 5 seconds, and can continuously supply power to the Car DVR camera system for 30 to 60 seconds. We all know that when a vehicle accident occurs, if our MDVR camera system , it can continue to run for 30 to 60 seconds, and the entire process of the event can be recorded completely and comprehensively (that is, the whole process of the vehicle before, during and after the event). It can provide favorable and comprehensive evidence for insurance companies and traffic management departments.

Choose a way that better suits your vehicle needs and enhance the data security of your fleet’s MDVR camera system.

1) Check and confirm whether the storage medium is good or bad?

2) Check whether the SSD/HDD/SD card is installed in the standard location and format the storage medium

1) Check whether the line is abnormally connected or disconnected, and whether the fuse is in good condition.
2) Check whether the start switch on the front panel of the host is on

1) Check if the recorder is turned on normally
2) Check whether the SIM card is in arrears
3) If the above two are normal, check whether the center IP and device number in the system menu of the recorder are correct

1) Check whether the format of the camera matches.
2) Check whether the pixels of the camera match the pixels. For example, a camera with 720P pixels cannot use 1080P pixels. It can only be used by reducing the system pixels.
3) Whether there is a short circuit in the camera output.

1) Check that the set startup voltage is higher than the existing power supply voltage, resulting in failure to start, and a higher power supply voltage is required to solve the problem.
2) There must be 2 voltage differences between the normal start-up voltage and shutdown voltage.

IP69K tests mainly include:
1. high temperature and high-pressure water scouring test (IPX9K)
2. dust tight test (IP6X)

When it comes to ensuring the safety of your fleet, you can never be too cautious. With a 4K mobile DVR camera system, you can monitor every move your vehicles make, which can be incredibly beneficial for both the safety of your drivers and your business operations.

Performance: It can run normally with power on and video recording, but after running for a while, it will reboot repeatedly.
Solution:
1. Check the integrity of the hard disk storage media, if the storage media is damaged, please replace it immediately.
2. Check whether there is any system operability problem in the MDVR system, and try to restore the factory system settings.

3. Check the power connection cable and voltage condition. Whether it is in line with the voltage required by the MDVR host, as well as the normal connection of the connecting cable.

1) Is the power indicator light of the main unit on? If not, please check whether the power cord is connected correctly and whether the fuse is damaged.

(2) The power indicator light is on, but the MDVR can not run, please check the voltage of the host computer is consistent with the power-on voltage of the system, and the power supply current should not be lower than 2A.

3) Whether ACC is connected properly, and whether the switch button on the front panel of the host is on.

4 ) Ensure that the above is intact, remove the storage hard disk, connect the camera, and start the machine, if the host can start, indicating that the hard disk problem, please replace a new hard disk can be.
